March 2015

  1. Seasons Change

    As you’re hunting around for treats at Farrington’s this Easter, you’ll start to see some new faces as Seasons Fish Kitchen becomes Farrington’s Fish and Chips… OK it might not be the most original name but it does what it says on the tin (or in this case, the fish & chip box)! Lee-Anne one of our own trusted Café chefs, will be swapping aprons and taking over at the frying helm. Serving freshly cooked fish and chips and other home-made favourites;

    Farrington’s Fish and Chips opens on Wednesday 1st April. We’re open 12pm – 7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Saturday, and 12pm – 8pm on Friday.

    Across the car park, it’s all change at Fairfield Nursery waving goodbye to Darren who embarks on a new gardening adventure. Spring bedding plants will be available from Farrington’s towards the end of April after the frost has disappeared and keep your eyes peeled for an exciting new outdoor cooking experience. More on that to follow soon.

  2. Blooming Tulips!

    Our Pick your own tulips will be springing up again soon!

    Over 50,000 bulbs were planted over the winter in readiness for the UK’s largest PYO tulips event, as featured on BBC’s Great British Garden Revival.

    Admission through Cowtastic Farm Park is free, and it’s the perfect day-out destination for families looking for a fresh experience!

    As always, it’s difficult to pick the perfect time to come as it’s all down to the great British weather but middle of April to early May is usually best.

    We’ll be posting regular Tulipwatch updates and pics over the next few weeks, so keep up to date on our facebook pages.

  3. Easter Hoppyness!

    Cowtastic Farm Park will be open from Saturday 28th March, just in time for the Easter holidays and this year we’re offering EXTRA TASTIC value!

    For just £1 plus standard entry fee per child, you can upgrade your tickets to go-extra tastic and get entry to both the Farm Park and Playbarn.

    Cowtastic Farm Park and Playbarn guarantees adventure whatever the weather and families can also enjoy the Easter Trail from Saturday 28th March – Sunday 12th April.
