Ever fancied a ride around a farm to see what happens behind the scenes? We offer fun trailer rides that take you over the hills, through the fields, and far away!

Available though the spring and summer months, our trailer rides can take up to thirty eight people and the guided trip lasts approximately one hour. We’ll take a ride over to our vegetable fields, and you can hear about how we farm the crops and see what ‘s growing. And once back at the farm, you can grab a drink and a bite to eat.

We hope the sun will be shining, but if not the trailer has bench seats and is covered to protect from the rain. The covered sides on the trailer also provide some shelter.

We offer three types of trips for groups, with prices from just £8.00 per person and we can take bookings between April and October.(Minimum ten people per group)

Our Rustic package offers a guided trailer ride to the vegetable fields, and back, followed by tea or coffee and Farrington’s home-made cakes for just £8.00 per person

The Ploughman’s offers the same ride as the rustic ride but with a delicious home-made Ploughman’s lunch or supper, to include: local farmhouse cheeses, crusty-bread, home-made pickle, salad and tea or coffee, at a cost of  £12 per person.

Our Gert-ride also offers the guided trailer tour followed by a quiche and salad lunch or supper. This includes a slice of our delicious home- made quiche and a choice of three home-made salads with green salad and crusty bread. This is followed by home-made apple pie and cream, plus tea or coffee. All this for just £15.00 per person.

Depending on the weather, the food will be served either in our Party Barn or in one of our outdoor barns. Larger parties will be split into two groups; food will be served to one group, while the other is enjoying their trailer ride.

Please note that all bookings for trailer rides must be made in advance, through the Playbarn and we require a minimum of ten people. To make a booking please give us a call or email us at playbarn@farringtons.co.uk
