Farrington’s Farm is a family-run farm shop set on a stunning 400-acre working farm in the heart of Somerset. We’re passionate about fresh, local produce and creating a welcoming experience for every customer.

Alongside our farm shop, we also have a café, playbarn, outdoor farm park and host popular seasonal events, including our well-known Pumpkin Festival.

The Role

We’re looking for a friendly and proactive Farm Shop & Deli Team Member to join our close-knit team.

This is a varied, customer-facing role at the heart of the business. You’ll spend most of your time on the shop floor, helping customers, maintaining displays and keeping the farm shop running smoothly. You’ll also occasionally support the deli during busy periods.

If you enjoy working with people, take pride in great service and have an interest in quality food and local produce, this could be a perfect fit.

The successful applicant will be flexible and available to work approximately 3 shifts per week, with shifts scheduled across Monday to Sunday. Additional hours and overtime may be available during busy seasonal periods.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Customer Service – Being a welcoming, friendly face; assisting with queries and recommendations while delivering excellent service at all times.

• Shop Floor & Merchandising – Keeping shelves well stocked and presented, creating seasonal displays, and maintaining a clean, inviting environment.

• Till & Transactions – Processing sales accurately using the POS system and handling cash and card payments responsibly.

• Stock & Operations – Restocking products, monitoring stock levels, checking dates, and supporting stock control to minimise waste.

• Deli Support (occasional) – Assisting the deli team during busy periods, serving customers, and maintaining high cleanliness standards.

• Teamwork – Working collaboratively with the team and supporting colleagues during busy periods and events.

About You

Experience is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided.

Hourly wage: £12.95 (dependent on age)
