Farrington’s Farm is based at Home Farm, an idyllic 400 acre working farm in the Somerset village of Farrington Gurney. Farrington's have a Farm Shop, Cafe, Playbarn and shopping village on site.
The Playbarn is our indoor soft play facility for young children. We are a popular children’s birthday party destination in the local area and experience high volumes of trade during peak season such as school holidays and annual events.
The Playbarn team also oversee the operations of our outdoor play park over the summer months where they provide hot drinks and refreshments to guests.
The Role
We are looking for confident and outgoing individuals with a good level of customer service experience to join our team, with immediate starts available for the right candidates.
Any form of leisure / hospitality experience is preferred but not essential. Previous experience working in an environment with children would be a bonus!
General duties will include working on the admissions desk and café counter, managing party booking enquiries, and overseeing general day to day operations of the business.
The ideal candidate will have an abundance of energy and enthusiasm along with a passion for excellent customer service. Previous barista experience would be an advantage however coffee training will also be provided.
21 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata)
20% discount across site (Farm Shop / Cafe / Playbarn)
50% discount on food and drink in cafe on shift
Weekday and weekend availability required
22-25 hours per week (around 3 shifts per week)
Permanent position available
Must be over 18 as weekday work is involved
Pay rate: £7.75 - 10.70 per hour dependant on age
