First and foremost, we are farmers. We wear wellies, drive tractors and spend hours wallowing in muddy fields!
Nestled in the village of Farrington Gurney, just between Bristol and Bath sits the farm and our growing fields.
Staying true to our roots, we always believed that a real farm shop should sell the best seasonal produce and home-made goodies from whatever we could grow on the farm and here, our ethos is about just that.
Once our fresh veg is picked from the fields, it is delivered to Farringtons HQ at Home Farm, where we either sell it to our customers or send it into the kitchens to be made into home-made dishes for the cafe and farm shop.
In a year, we grow over sixty varieties of vegetables which are available in the farm shop.
In 2011 we were named Countryside Alliance British Champions of Local Food and in 2012 were delighted to be awarded FARMA UK Retailer of the year for the second time ( having previously won in 2004).
The majority of the products we sell in the shop come from local suppliers which means that our customers know where their food comes from and can have real confidence in its quality.
