BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Farrington’s Farm (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the organiser of Farrington’s Kids Fest (the “Event”).
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking. By purchasing tickets and/or attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you and Farrington’s Farm.
1. Booking & Entry
1.1. Entry to the Event is permitted only with a valid ticket purchased via our official website. Tickets are not sold through third parties.
1.2. All attendees aged 2 years and over must hold a valid ticket.
1.3. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be amended once booked, except where required by law.
1.4. All ticket purchases may be subject to a non-refundable booking administration fee.
1.5. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold for commercial gain. We reserve the right to cancel any tickets suspected of unauthorised resale.
1.6. A valid e-ticket must be presented on arrival, either on a mobile device or as a printed copy.
1.7. Tickets are valid only for the date selected at the time of booking. Entry may be refused if you attend on an incorrect date.
1.8. The Event is held outdoors and will proceed in most weather conditions.
1.9. We reserve the right to make changes to the Event at any time without prior notice, including but not limited to activities, performances, timings, layout, or location, where necessary due to operational, safety, weather, or supplier-related reasons.
1.10. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the Event for safety, operational, or behavioural reasons without refund.
2. Conduct & Safety
2.1. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
2.2. Attendees must behave responsibly and respectfully. Any harassment, discrimination, dangerous, or disruptive behaviour towards staff or other attendees may result in removal from the Event without refund.
2.3. We take reasonable care to ensure the safety of attendees; however, the Event takes place on a working farm. Surfaces may be uneven, muddy, or slippery. Attendees enter at their own risk and should take appropriate care.
2.4. Appropriate footwear and clothing suitable for outdoor conditions must be worn.
2.5. No dogs are permitted at the Event, except registered assistance dogs.
2.6. Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. We accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
2.7. Please use bins provided or take litter home to help keep the site clean.
2.8. Picnics are discouraged as catering options are available on site.
2.9. Vehicles and their contents are parked at the owner’s risk. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage.
2.10. Any accidents, hazards, or lost children must be reported to a member of staff immediately.
2.11. In the event of an emergency, you consent to first aid treatment being administered where appropriate.
3. Food
3.1. Food and drink will be available for purchase from on-site vendors.
3.2. We cannot guarantee that any food sold at the Event is free from allergens. Attendees with allergies or dietary requirements must exercise caution and speak directly with vendors before consumption.
4. Weather & Event Changes
4.1. The Event will take place in most weather conditions. Attendees are responsible for checking forecasts and dressing appropriately.
4.2. In the event of adverse weather, we may modify, delay, restrict, or cancel certain activities or areas to ensure safety.
4.3. Weather warnings will be assessed in line with official guidance. The following applies:
Yellow warning (be aware): Event proceeds as planned. No refunds for non-attendance.
Amber warning (take action): Event proceeds with possible modifications. No refunds for non-attendance.
Red warning (danger): The Event may be cancelled.
4.4. If the Event is cancelled due to a red weather warning or other safety-critical reason, ticket holders will be offered either:
A refund of the ticket price (excluding booking fees), or
The option to transfer to an alternative date (if available).
4.5. No refunds will be issued where the Event proceeds but attendees choose not to attend.
5. Photography & Media
5.1. Photography and video recording may take place during the Event for marketing and promotional purposes.
5.2. By attending the Event, you consent to being included in such materials.
5.3. If you do not wish to appear in photography or video, please inform a member of staff on arrival.
6. Liability
6.1. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
6.2. Subject to clause 6.1, we shall not be liable for:
Any indirect or consequential loss
Loss, theft, or damage to personal property
Any losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control
6.3. Attendees accept that participation in outdoor activities carries inherent risks.
7. Force Majeure
7.1. We shall not be liable for failure to perform or delays in performing our obligations where such failure arises from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Extreme weather
Government restrictions
Strikes or industrial action
Power failure
Supplier or contractor failure
8. General
8.1. We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of booking will apply.
8.2. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
8.3. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
