Whether it’s racing down wavy slides or shuffling across the rope skywalks, the Playbarn has it all to keep your family entertained for hours. The Playbarn Café serves homemade meals, snacks and drinks to keep you going through the day. Based at Farrington's Farm, Farrington Gurney, between Bristol and Bath. No need to book in advance, just turn up!
INDOOR SOFTPLAY
Our large soft play structure is made up of three fun-packed levels that will tire out even the toughest adventurer. Find a huge multi-lane slide and tunnel slide, as well as ball pits, tunnels, climb towers and rope sky walks - all designed to test your strength, balance and coordination.
Suitable for children up to 12 years old.
BABY AREA
This section of our soft play area has plenty of space for you to stay and play by your child’s side. The section is completely padded, so there’s a soft landing for those practising getting around. The mini space hopper animals are great for role play and tummy time too.
Suitable for children 0-2 years old.
TODDLER AREA
Split over two levels, this soft play area keeps the most energetic toddlers entertained. There’s a slide, ball pit and plenty of other obstacles for your toddlers to tackle. All while you take a seat on one of the many picnic benches and enjoy a coffee from the Playbarn café.
Suitable for children aged between 2 to 5 years.
PLAYBARN CAFE
All that running around will certainly make your stomach rumble. And the homemade food from the café is the best way to reenergise for round two in the Playbarn. From light bites to filling lunches, the café serves a wide range of food. All of course made with locally sourced and homegrown produce.

Sunday 9am - 4pm
Please note that you don't need to book to visit the Playbarn but during busy times we may have to enforce a time limit to manage capacity and ensure everyone gets playtime!

Visit the Playbarn on a weekday between 1st-19th Dec 2025 to be entered into a prize draw to win an annual pass. 2 passes up for grabs. Winners contacted by 22nd Dec. Submit details on Playbarn entry.
ANNUAL PASSES
Our annual pass gives you UNLIMITED entry into our Playbarn for a whole year, giving you the freedom to play at Farrington's whenever you like. Pop into the Playbarn to sign up. (£125 over 2s, £100 renewal, £90 under 2s)
TEA TIME FISH & CHIPS
Visit the Playbarn from 3pm Tuesday - Saturday and you can order from our Fish & Chip Shop menu at the Cafe counter!
Your food boxes will be delivered to your table while the kids are playing.
SCHOOL DISCOUNT
Children of Farrington Gurney Primary School receive 50% off entry after school during term time. Each child must be wearing Farrington Gurney school uniform to be eligible for the discount.

We've got NEW equipment and have given the space a little makeover to freshen things up! Our Playbarn Cafe now has a lovely relaxed feel, with new lighting and décor. Come and see us soon...

Choose from one of the two party packages and we’ll do all the hard work for you, which means you get more time to celebrate.
All parties are two hours long, split between play time in the Playbarn then food and birthday cake in the party room.
