IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Some useful things to note ahead of your visit to the Farrington's:

  • The Pumpkin Patch is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs

  • Wheelbarrows will be available for you to borrow on the day (subject to availability)

  • Our pumpkins are not sprayed for weeds so there aren't just pumpkin plants in the field! This is normal, but please wear long trousers, long-sleeved tops and wellies to protect yourselves. Please do not pick anything that isn't a pumpkin and supervise children at all times.

  • We welcome well-behaved dogs on leads in the Pumpkin Patch. Please make sure you pick up after them and put waste in the bins provided

  • This is an all-weather event (although it's usually quite muddy after rain!). Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day

  • Smoking is not permitted in the Pumpkin Patch

FAQs

Can I bring my pushchair?

We HIGHLY recommend that you avoid bringing a pushchair into the Pumpkin Patch, you will be entering a field which is not a suitable surface for them. The rest of the site is pushchair accessible once you have picked your pumpkins.

How much are the pumpkins?

Pumpkin prices are based on the size of the pumpkin. They start from £1 and go up to £12+ for the extra large MONSTERS. If you choose a white one, it's £1 extra for any size.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome into the Pumpkin Patch, but please make sure you pick up after them.

Who needs a ticket?

EVERYONE needs a ticket to enter the Pumpkin Patch except babies under 2 years old and dogs!

When is the best time to visit?

You will get the best selection of pumpkins the earlier you visit, however, if you choose to carve your pumpkins too early, they are unlikely to last until Halloween

Can I swap my ticket to another day?

Sorry, we are unable to transfer tickets to another day but you are welcome to give your tickets to someone else, provided they have your ticket information.

Can I have a refund on my ticket?

Sorry, we do not offer refunds on tickets, but you are welcome to give your tickets to someone else, provided they have your ticket information.

Can I pay for things by card?

Yes, we do take card payments for everything on site. However, we do highly recommend you bring cash along with you, in the event our card machines are on go-slow. We are in the countryside and connections aren’t always the quickest!

What if it is raining on the day I have booked?

We will be running the event whatever the weather. Bring wellies and a rain jacket for picking your pumpkins, we have undercover areas for carving and eating!

What shall I wear to the event?

We recommend wellies and a rain jacket, you can never predict British weather in October! The Pumpkin Patch can get very muddy. Please don't wear your best white trainers!

How do your time slots work?

You will have booked your hour time slot, this means you can arrive any time within your time slot. You can stay in the field for as long as you want (until the field closes for the day), your arrival time slot helps us to stagger entry throughout the day to avoid queues! Please note, if you book for the last time slot of the day, we aim to close the field 30 minutes after the last entry (i.e. if the last slot is 3pm-4pm, we will close the field at 4.30pm), so it's worth arriving at the start of your time slot.

What dates are you open?

Our Pumpkin Patch is open on the 6th-8th, 13th-15th, 19th-29th October 2023
