FARRINGTON'S PUMPKIN PICKING FAQs
Pick-your-own Pumpkin Patch near Bristol, Bath and Wells in Somerset
SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ANSWERED...
Can I bring my pushchair?
We highly recommend that you avoid bringing a pushchair into the Pumpkin Patch, you will be entering a field which is generally not a suitable surface for them. Farrington's main site is pushchair friendly.
How much are the pumpkins?
Pumpkin prices are based on the size of the pumpkin. They start from £1.50 and go up to £12+ for the extra large MONSTERS. If you choose a white one, it's £1 extra for any size.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome into the Pumpkin Patch, but please make sure you pick up after them.
Who needs a ticket?
Everyone needs a ticket to enter the Pumpkin Patch except children under 2 years old, on-duty carers and dogs.
I'm a carer, how does the free entry work?
You don't need to pre-book a ticket, you just need to be entering the pumpkin patch with another ticket holder. Please be prepared to show your carer identification on entry.
When is the best time to visit?
You will get the best selection of pumpkins the earlier you visit, however, if you choose to carve your pumpkins too early, they are unlikely to last until Halloween.
Can I swap my ticket to another day?
Sorry, we are unable to transfer tickets to another day but you are welcome to give your tickets to someone else, provided they have your ticket information.
Can I have a refund on my ticket?
Sorry, we do not offer refunds on tickets, but you are welcome to give your tickets to someone else, provided they have your ticket information.
Can I pay for things by card?
Yes, we do take card payments for everything at Farrington's. We do also recommend bringing some cash with you, in the event our card machines are on go-slow. We are in the countryside and connections aren’t always the quickest!
What if it is raining on the day I have booked?
We will be running the event whatever the weather, it's all part of the fun of the great outdoors! Bring wellies and a rain jacket for picking your pumpkins, we have undercover areas for carving and eating.
What shall I wear to the event?
We recommend wearing outdoor clothing, including wellies, as the pumpkin patch can get muddy. Don't forget a rain jacket, as it's tricky to predict the British weather in October. Please don't wear your best white trainers!
How do your time slots work?
You booked time slot is your arrival time. You can arrive to the pumpkin patch any time within your time slot. You can stay in the field for as long as you want (until the field closes), arrival slots helps us to stagger entry to avoid queues! Please note, if you book for the last time slot of the day, the field closes 30 minutes after the last entry (i.e. if the last slot is 4pm-5pm, we will close the field at 5.30pm), so it's worth arriving at the start of your time slot. You are welcome to arrive to Farrington's earlier in the day if you want to make the most of other things on offer here before you go pumpkin picking.
What dates are you open?
